Storm Chasing

Since May 2008, Ryan has been a storm chasing tour guide and technical assistant with Storm Chasing Adventure Tours. He has seen over a dozen tornadoes and numerous supercell thunderstorms over the past decade. Storm chasing is the ultimate immersion experience for both weather forecasting and storm spotting, making it one of the best educational experiences for any meteorologist. Ryan also redesigned the Storm Chasing Adventure Tours website in 2009 and has taken on an expanded role through web administration, social media outreach, and promotion with the company.
