Ryan Hoke's Weather Through the Years

After years of childhood fascination with weather, Ryan set out to get a head start in broadcast meteorology by starting his own weather website for the Louisville, Kentucky area as a high school sophomore in 2007. When Ryan started college in 2009 and ceased operations with Ryan Weather, he had recorded 106 weekly weather forecast videos, posted over 800 daily weather blog entries, appeared on live television twice, and even accepted a tour guide and technical assistant position with Storm Chasing Adventure Tours.

In September 2010, Ryan accepted a weekend morning weather position at WBBJ-TV 7 in Jackson, Tennessee and held the position through early 2013. Now, a graduate of Mississippi State University's meteorology program, Ryan serves as the weekend morning meteorologist at WAVE 3 News in Louisville, Kentucky.
